State Shipping Laws: Nevada

Summary

Limited Direct Shipping. Permit and brand registration required and taxes must be paid. Fee required for shipments over 200 cases; designation of a wholesaler required for shipments of 25 cases or more. Nevada residents 21 years of age or older permitted to import up to 12 cases of wine per year for household or personal use. Delivery must be accepted by an adult. (N.R.S. ¶7473 §369.490).

Aggregate Volume Limit

This is a limit on volume of total shipments from a winery to all consumers in the region over a specified period of time.

  • The total of shipments to all consumers in this region have an aggregate volume limit of 200 cases per year for combined onsite and offsite sales with the following exception: Winery must pay annual $500 fee to ship above the 200 case limit. This $500 is good through June 30th of same year. .
